"I became a agent actually by bonding someone out of jail. I never thought walking in that company would lead me to my destiny. I worked for other companies but always dreamed of my own so dreams do come true! I know some would think the most rewarding experience in being a bond owner would be making money but for me it is when a client reaches a milestone and includes me in their celebration. I have been given the nick name the "Inmate's Bondsman." When I first opened my business my number was not on the jail wall lists so inmates from every block made a card with my business info and placed them by every phone. My best friend of 30 years Melissa Hicks is a bond agent for my company. She actually became a bond agent a couple of years before I opened so that she would be fully trained and experienced for the day I was ready to open my own. She developed a reputation of being one of the best and caring agents in the industry.  I have been asked many times what sets us apart from other companies and my answer is we have both sat in the chairs across from a bond agent's desk to bond out a loved one before either of us became agents ."
